White Mania !!

I know, I know monsoon is not really the season to endorse your whites, but couldnt really ignore the timeless allure of whites...

White is the colour of purity and is a colour that suits all body types irrespective of the age of the wearer. Earlier the colour was limited to a very few occasions but today the colour can be worn throughout the year to innumerable ceremonies and festivals.Whites can be worn for a formal occasion like a board meeting or an official brunch as well as to an festive/informal occasions if paired with the right amount of bling...

Getting it Right with White

@ Wear nude, skin coloured undergarments under white clothing. Seamless panties can keep away those unpleasant panty lines.

@ Pearshaped women should stay away from white bottoms as white tends to accentuate the problem areas.

@ Do wear some coloured accessory on a complete white outfit, unless you aspire to be the next Jumping Jack.

@ White footwear doesnt always suit everyone.

@ White clothing is hard to maintain the whole day, since it tends to get stained and dirty easily, you can wear a button up jacket on your whites in case you need to travel.

Spice up your whites !

# Tired of the same White Shirt- Black trouser routine? Pep up your boring office wear by adding a colourful scarf to your staple white shirt and your look is transformed instantly.

Celebrity Pick

Gypsy's celebrity pick is a surprise - Neha Dhupia. Gypsy loves her white romper and the way she has teamed it with a black leather jacket and black neckpiece. Make up is minimal and there are no accessories except the neckpiece and the white wrist watch.Hair is hassel free and straight.Though the look is a black&white combination it is very interesting and perfect for latenight parties.

Gypsy's Rating : * * * * 4/5

WHAT WAS THAT???

Jessica Alba may have a pretty face and a killer smile but still it fails to save her look in this white dress. The dress looks ill fitted and oversized for Jessica. Red belt looks misplaced. The black heels are totally mismatched. The hair is a saving grace but Jessica ends up looking like a 13 year old attending a prom night.

Gypsy simply loves whites as it reflects lights and instantly adds a glow on the wearer's face. Its an effortless colour,is fresh and can be reinvented in number of styles. You just need to add a hint of accessories to it and even the most boring white outfit and be transformed into a eyeball grabbing one. This is the power of white which no other colour possesses...

Thanks for Reading...:)
